Apparently known as The Writers bar these days.

It would appear that it's I who's mad but then it was the early 70's, Colonial Singapore, 'mad dogs and Englismen' etc. and an excellent place to spend some time on R&R after the rigours of Jungle.warfare training iñ the MalaysianJungle.

Incidentally my old Regiment was known as the Poets Regiment. Graves and Sassoon having served with the Royal Welch Fusiliers during WW1. We got to know Singapore well during and after the emergency. Stopped over again a few years back. A great place for an AGM

Enough of OT poets even if the board is so quiet.- just hope there's some action soon. It's always the waiting that's the worst.
