Ms Basak's role was product development and it is entirely possible that her focus at PTI was always intended to develop products for Finisar as part of a development partnership under NDA.  We should remember that AM advocated a work method of closer cooperation between the engineers of respective partners for faster product development. This may well be an instance of his philosophy, I remember him speaking in these terms regarding fab 2 in a YouTube clip.

Another example of this may well explain the whereabouts of Mr Shepherd in another partnership under NDA.

Those who dispair at their investment decisions should take some comfort from the fact that PTI management contains inovative  thinkers whose actions can only be appreciated in the long term.  One needs a sence of vision to see investment success in technological development.  The possibility of short term gratification ended when PTI'S direction was swivelled in September 2015. The SP will recover when the current phase of commercialisation matures.
