→ Just what is Apple up to? There have been several reports that the tech giant has a stealthy plan well under way to develop biosensors that can continually monitor the blood sugar of diabetics. That would mark a major achievement in the field, where the control of blood sugar through medication remains elusive for the one-third of patients who have been diagnosed but aren’t being treated properly.

→ Four more startups have been admitted into the ranks of Peter Thiel’s Breakout Labs. The group provides up to $350,000 to help these companies launch, reports MedCity News.
