For some time now I've tended to agree with or support the thoughts and comments of having the Company or it's designate (presumably our IR firm) provide a "layman's" description of the technology as it would assist the "not so inclined" investors to understand the potential. Lately however, with the knowledge and disclosure that "it works", I'm not entirely convinced even a cursory understanding is all that is necessary anymore. Obviously, those more technically informed will have greater comfort than the rest of us and that's okay.
We are privy to which verticals the Poet platform can address either now or with a longer term view (as disclosed by the Company) and we are or should be reasonably well informed on the size of the potential markets for each of these verticals. This in and of itself has given me much more comfort than not understanding how it works.
As I see it, the issue isn't necessarily understanding the technology but rather it continues to be whether the Company can demonstrate evidence to support the claim that it is a solution for the available verticals, nothing more, nothing less. We have been told it works, understanding how it works anymore is not relevant to us laymen, what is relevant continues to be "prove it" and for that we must wait for NRE or other revenue attributed to the platform so the market can recognize the economic value of Poet.
I believe there is some logic to anticipating an announcement of NRE or other favourable economic matters prior to the AGM given the disclosures so far.
For that I remain patient............deeply in the red but patient
Good luck to all
