This well worn cliché occupied far too much space in the British media for a time but clearly it has its uses.
Returning from a most pleasant Mediterranean cruise to so much gloom by posters raking up past sins was depressing and places my title as a timely reminder that surely it is time to accept that despite the inevitable troughs and outrageous mismortunes of investing in venture capital 'bleeding edge' IT start ups there is every reason to believe that our investment is set fair for an improvement.
Where we are to my mind is at a point where gloomy predictions will be forgotten by some real progress on management plans to fill the coffers that will fund the costs needed to implement the next stage of POET technology that so facinated and attracted me to this risky enterprise in the first place.
The real issue is the time this has taken and not the rocky route chosen. That path was inevitable and we have survived the worst of it.
