his work at A*STAR (2012 - 2016) included:
- Research in 2D materials for optoelectronics application.
- Leading the project team on Integrated Nanoplasmonics and Nanophotonics for research in semiconductor microcavity laser, III-V laser on Si and plasmonic nanocavity Laser. Spearheading the fabrication flow design, execution and optimization.
- Involved in the conceptual design and simulation of the devices and the measurement of the devices.
- Forged collaboration with external institutes and actively support group members on other project
As well his Senior Fellow Research and Post Doctorate (2007-2012) work with A*STAR:
- Developing and optimizing of 3-D two-photon absorption lithography for nanophotonics, microfluidic and waveguiding applications.
Setting up of an interference lithography system.
Involved in training new user for cleanroom equipment.
- First member of the research team under the A*STAR Visiting Investigatorship Program (VIP) on Nanoelectronics-Photonics Integration. Developed and optimized various fabrication process for III-V semiconductor based photonic integrated devices for the entire team working on various different projects. Examples of processes are electron-beam lithography, photolithography, inductively coupled plasma etching and quantum well intermixing. Involved in the training of new users for cleanroom equipment.
