FWIW, I did not hesitate to sign the letter, but my personal opinion is that the SRP is secondary to Poet's finances.   A devious plot, involving our management, to enable a  take over of the Company on the cheap and at long term shareholder's expense, I admit, it isn't impossible.  Obviously Poet management has lost a lot of trust, but other than the SRP question, I see no reason to question their veracity and ethics.  Communication and explanation of course needs improvement, and this issue could have been easily avoided.

Any takeover attempt has to find enough shareholder support, and any such attempt would immediately raise eyebrows.   I know we have been heavily diluted and marked down, and I am not sure if a majority of shareholders would support such an attempt, and at what price?  

That said, the chart looks awful, we are sitting at 3 year lows, and at the same level after the October financing.   Some here have put their reputation on the line by predicting good news by summer.   There is still some time, and some time before the AGM.   Hope is about all we have to cling to.
