Silly idea

Wherever did I get the silly idea that successfully producing the GaAs optical transceiver on a wafer was a big deal? Never accomplished before. The holy grail and the start of introducing Poet's disruptive technology? And the AOC was the simple low hanging fruit. Eagerly awaiting news that the VCSEL transceiver has been optimized?

Now we are to believe from the presentation that the long awaited VCSEL has been completed and optimized? But no celebratory news release. I guess it just was no big deal after all.
