The duration of the option (10 years) does not bother me a bit.

Here's one of the things I found interesting, though, and someone here indicated that they would have liked to see Bill Ring get some options, too.  I also found that unusual.  We've been hearing that Bill Ring is a big reason we're still in business, being saved, etc., yet, we look at the scoreboard and see Suresh - 3,000,000, and Bill - 0 (maybe he got some very recently, I don't know, but nothing with such a high "rileability" as Suresh's potfull).

Obviously, if it's at least somewhat true about Bill's importance, then you don't want to disappoint him.  At the same time, it made me think, "exactly what has Suresh accomplished in order to justify the 3 mill, when Bill and others get next to nothing."

Although it may well have been that Suresh saw the writing on the wall and shifted focus to DD and Bill Ring, and the directors, unlike some here, thought that was a brilliant, prescient move, my hope is we're going to find out soon about something else he may have done.
