I agree with you that the reports are of less value compared to our objective analysis, but only to us.  While we happily reside in our Agoracom microcosm, any perceived excitement over reports beginning to appear may just be that the public tends to watch, and sometimes even act upon these reports.  A wee bit of a coming out party begins, so to speak.
