Well I would think there would have to be a level of truth to this information, if they are willing to share it with the members of the forums. Why else would they make these statements?

Well, andech1, I am expecting an announcement regarding the dielectric indium phosphide hybrid integration technology tonight as POET's culmination and conclusion of the CIOE. I think it will feature multiplexers/demultiplexers as well as waveguides and spot size converters.
With this week's announcements, POET Technologies will be prepared well for the R&R conference next week.
Oh, and by the way, I really do agree with Strategic Trader's opinion of the Indian tender being a one-horse race! Requires still a little patience, though.

Sorry, folks, no announcement yesterday, so I was wrong on that. However, the rumor mill has it that even better perspectives than selling individual dielectric InP devices to individual customers are lying ahead. I am keen to watch the POET Technologies presentation at the R&R conference, announced for next Monday!

Watch for an announcement associated with access to the dielectric to by a large company who wants exclusive rights and are willing to pay up front. POET retains rights for their own product lines
