Message: Repost of Response to Brundalreturns (Technical Violation)

One word starting with "s" is now replaced by the word "win" to remove a technical violation from the post as a slang word was misintrepreted when in my context no such meaning was ever implied. I am reposting this with that change to reassert my right to free speech. Thank you to the Hub Leader who brought that to my attention.

"At the R&R conference in New York, on September 11, 2017, during Suresh's slide presentation to investors, he showed a graph where POET will be entering the market just as 100G's begins to ramp upward in a high growth market, then where POET will be at the lead in the 400G space. Remember, POET's InP platform is scalable. They won't be the only player in the market, but there strategy is to win a part of that 100G market to them and then takeover more market share in the 100G market while priming themselves for the lead in the 400G market. 100G's is not the holy grail.

Remember, POET or any significant player has to be ready for what the customer wants. If you have a scalable technology, of which they already do in the InP platform, then they will be ready for what the customer wants. Yes, there will be some forms of ccompetition, but the winners will be those that can provide what the customer wants --- POET is positioning themselves that way, years in advance, because in the InP platform they are ready now to sychronize with the market demands and growth. Just revist that presentation and hopefully you will understand."
