Message: RTV- India Question

Taking a step back from the wonderful world of the theoretical of where we might be heading, the share price (which I listen to with equal attention as I do to FJ and others great posts), is more than whispering that India is not going to work out.

Among the alternatives, although not exhaustive:

1. We never put a bid in.

2. We did, but the relative strength of the other bidders makes it a longshot that the huge country of India would get in bed with the tiny company of POET on what I assume is an important project for India - you wouldn't want to be the minister who choose POET and then have POET fail and the decision be viewed in hindsight - "what were you thinking?"  Any light that can be shed on the wherewithall/reputation of the other bidders would be meaningful.

3. Our bid is not so good compared to the other bidders.

4. Management views the whole thing as a real longshot.

5. The selection process will be extended and only a few know that.

Naturally, there are many other alternative.

If we had a realistic shot, how can Mika and his broker contacts not be persuading people to buy this stock right now?

Assuming that the selection will be made around the end of this month, the share activity better perk up or we need to forget about this India and focus more on sales of our much talked about and soon to be completed products of a quality and price that will be a commercial success.
