1998BMWZ3: I hope that the tender comes through but only at a price that management deems is in the companies best interest.

Since India is the ideal partner for POET to advance the GaAs platform, it wouldn't surprise me if they made their bid at a significant discount. They cannot risk to have the GaAs platform continue gathering dust on the shelf or else get a commercial company as a partner, which has much more financial interests.
