At one time, and thinking in a perfect world, the GaAs platform would entirely disrupt the industry. So any lofty share value would be possible in that kind of world. But, we are in an imperfect world and technology is also very fluid with competition at all levels. It was thought, at one time, that POET's GaAs platform was in a class all of its own. Well, it is still a step a way from that, but the disruption has to be huge to convert an industry. I feel that POET will return to working towards that end, but they need growing sales in their InP platform to put POET on a financial good footing.

You can have great ideas, but in the meantime, you still have to eat. That is the reality of an imperfect world, and this Eileen character (if true) never factored in that into the equation. Rainer, by Him, you are refering to the Maker, are you? As for Christopher Chu, the last name rhymes with "shame on you"- hypothetically, if he was still part of any financing of POET, would he still be critical?
