That blue ocean is always there for "first movers". As frustrating as it has been for some here, it takes a lot of R&D, time, and strategy to get it right out of the gate. Because expectations are high partly because we do not necessarily understand the realities of what POET is doing, and partly because of past managment comments that really are to pacify the impatient. No comments are better over "up and to the right", but when pressed by shareholders, the words will fly.
With POET's roadmap and sales projections of $10 million in 2018, $50 million in 2019, and $250 million in 2020, I feel that they become the most tangible concepts we non-technical shareholders can relate to. If anything, that is what I would hold management to as that is what the market overall will only see with their tunnel vision as well.
