Your English is excellent Rainer but the subtleties  of the language still elude you. There is a very large difference between strategic and commercial partners.

Have a look at the definition of strategic, this is someone who you work with for a common goal (global domination?), you strategize with to defeat your competition, in this case.

A commercial partner is merely someone you try to make some money with.

i wouldn’t minimize the importance of the change in language.
