That others manufacture VCSELS is the motivation for POET to do it better, cheaper, smaller or functionally monolithically integrated on one chip for a given application- POET is a process to manufacture optoelectical components not simply VCSELS.

Good on Phillips I say, I am very fond of the beautiful city of Ulm where they have a base. I would suggest you stay invested in PTK Poetic License.  Its better not to frighten the natives or panic the troops with bogy man stories when morale is at an all time high.
