If the short was warrant related (and we have no idea what it is or if it is even real) I think we should also consider the possibility that this could be a proactive exercise to add money to the POET bank account. The notion being warrant holders take a little profit now on your warrants to preserve the value of your remaining warrants. We have no idea but the stock is not behaving in a manner which would point to a typical short.  So once again things are not as they appear in my opinion.
