This is, simply put, a tremendous watershed moment for POET.

No doubt in my mind that POET is now destined for greatness.

Accelink is a circa $2.7B USD (17B CYN) progressive company. In Co-development partnership with POET, Accelink will be able to unleash disruptive new products to the rapid growth Datacom and Telecom market segments.

I also like the callout in the Press Release that states “As one of the largest suppliers of transceivers both in China and globally, Accelink is an ideal initial partner for POET to commercialize its optical interposer platform and to rapidly bring products to market.  We are thrilled to be engaged in this effort with a forward-looking partner with leading products and solutions in the highest growth segments of both datacom and telecom.  This is a watershed event for POET as we now have a clear path to commercialization of our Optical Interposer Platform technology with an industry leader.”

An ideal initial partner .... this strongly indicates that more partners will follow !! and that should not come a s a surprise due to the competitive nature of POET's technology.

When the market digests this news, we should see some very exciting trading.

And let us not forget about that ISRO RFP .... that appears to be alive (certainly no news stating it is not), so if that can be sewn-up in the coming weeks, that would be like throwing gasoline on the fire !!!
