PrimeINVESTOR,
Those who understand the longterm never saw this stock as pie-in-the-sky speculation. We saw that they had very compelling and viable technologies. What we probably did learn over the years was to adjust our speculation and risk tolerance. It really came down to how well the market understood POET. When they didn't, they punished the share price. When they begin to understand, as that is what is clearer now, they drive the share price up and to the right. The graph of POET lately is beautiful. As long as it continues sloping, on average, at 40 to 45 degrees on the charts, we will be very happy and even more confident in POET longterm.
Many shareholders here did not understand Suresh's long term roadmap. But what was troubling was when they took that bad financing during a period of share price weakness and exsaperated the price downwards. That smelled bad and it hurt many of us and shook our confidence to a degreee or two. But, now we are feeling better for having stuck to our resolve and not get distracted by some noise-makers here who were talking their book downwards on this stock over the years. When you take out the noise, you can tell that POET, overall, did know what they were doing. That became particularly evident when they acquired BB Photonics and Denselight, of whom many criticized.
Onward and upward to the right now. I am glad that mazan4 is feeling much better about this stock now and has exercised warrants. Thank you for hanging onto your longer term perspective and to all others here as well.
