I have Googled for "increase bought deal" and apparantly it happened many times before. Many of the newsreleases that popup contain text like [company] is pleased to announce,  due to strong demand and over-allotment options that are being granted.

Glass half full kind of guy I am, I think the increase to 12m can be looked at in that context.
