FJ I know you met with the company brass last week and liked what you heard and things may be progressing but if that is true it would of been nice for them to look after the shareholders they had and not line the shysters with more shares.

Yes myself TB and Ms. TB were delighted by the explanation they gave us on what the Optical Interposer is and what it does that provides a big improvement over existing high cost technologies that industry is dealing with.  And we were very happy to hear that POET is not building the optical engines at Accelink but are building elsewhere (at a partners facility) and maintaining control of the technology. I would suggest that the need for money is driven primarily to meet Accelink’s desire to advance the tech into their product line as quickly as possible. And it would not surprise me if they offered to support POET in this effort by providing space at one of their facilities or by providing cash up front but I don’t think this is in keeping with the plans that POET has for the future to roll this tech out to industry. I know that there have been concerns about doing deals with a Chinese company but I think the terms have allowed POET to keep a level of separation both in terms of corporate and tech.

It saddens me that people here feel that Management do not care about shareholders. I think that is wrong. I very much believe what they are doing is in our best interest even though it may not feel that way.

As myself and TB commented… Suresh appeared to be in a great mode and I know that they enjoyed speaking with us. Their path I think is pretty clear on what they need to do and how to do it and if this financing allows them to do make moves that would otherwise have to be delayed well I just think it is a small price to pay.

Cormark trading activities over the last month:

They have sold a total of 370k shares over the last month. 70k on Mar 5 at .63, 208k on Mar 8 at .696 and 91k on Mar 9 at .701

Not enough to suggest anything but profit taking in my opinion.
