dash8400, when did you firststart to invest in POET or Opel?
My initial investment was about 8 years ago when we were going to sell a boat load of solar panels to Spain and oh yes they had a great scientist that was doing something quite special with microchips but nobody really knew what the heck he was doing but it might be the next big thing.
I didn't hink for one minute that the funds that I was investing along with many others was going to keep the company affloat for the next 2 or 3 years. It was a bunch of geeks working in a lab.
If you invested last week then your outlook would bevery different, firstly you would not have gone through the numerous fundings (and experienced the worst funding known to man) and secondly we are on the verge of actually generating meaningful revenue.
Investing is all about timing and risk, I invested many years ago for peanuts and accepted the high risk and that it might take 5 years for my money to start growing.
Personally I am just happy that I didn't lose everything which nearly happened a few years back. We have an amazing management team in my view and I think we are about to realise the good work that Dr G has worked on and many others have now taken over.
Insider buying is supposed to fill investors with warm fuzzy feelings, its their way of telling us "We are ontrack, your investment is in good hands".
I along with all the people who have been on this ride for the last 5 - 10 years are exhausted but now is our time!
Don't worry about dilution, we have money in the bank. As long as the SP goes up and you make money then all is good no? I don't care if I own 0.2% or 0.1% of the company, I just want to know that my investment is making money. Lots of money.
Don't let it get you down dash8400.
