We spent a bit of time going over the advantages POETs platform has over Kaiam’s active optical alignment using MEMS. There will be no real comparison in cost with POETs optical interposer and POET’s mux/demux has significant advantages and is part of the fabrication flow.

Today we have a better understanding of POETs breakthrough when compared to Kaiam’s platform.
