Further to my earlier post on this subject. Acting on the assumption that the price has indeed been deliberately held at the $C 0.50 level by the Company for some reason. What would that reason be - to buy time perhaps but for what?
Our FCO was in New York this past week presumably to attract the the sort of investors i.e. ‘Gold Plated’ ones that we have talked about before, but whom we can realistically assume did not show interest or take the bait in the past, otherwise we would not be where we are SP wise today. A number of you have chastised management for not pursuing more active measures for getting the SP ball rolling. I sense that given the earlier ‘insider buying, timed release of news that this indeed is the Company’s intention. They know that they have product of substance in hand and sufficient agreement to demonstrate the wherewithal necessary to make a success of the commercialisation of that product. As regards timings April/May is the right time for the this company to make a run at the NASDAQ where it needs to be to get the attention this Company now deserves by right.
To my mind such investors that Thomas Mika is seeking would have no taste for the venture exchange, unlike us mad folk on this board, they are effectively elegant ladies who need time to be wooed and convinced of PTI’s prospects. In that by holding the price at this level it allows time for negotiation, research, consideration and subsequent action. Processes in the sort of investment houses the company wants to consider PTK potential simply take time - is that what TM is up to?
If my notion is right there is a lot of angst being generated on this board unnecessarily. The past sequence of events points to greater things not a decline.
