Shorts?  Nope, I doubt shorts are even active in this stock currently, much less in control.

The share price just tells me that absent more news about revenue, the market believes that significant revenue is a ways away. 

At one time I was impressed with the number of ways posters could sugar coat the weak share price, but now the excuses are just rehashed. It will take as long as it takes and likely materially longer than most of us project/predict.  My hope is that when it does happen, the product is so good that it almost sells itself.  In the meantime, there could be other market moving news, such as some sort of deal where POET gets a significant amount of up front money.

Still, having said all that, the amount of weakness in the share price is surprising (and, admittedly, very discouraging) to me.
