In all fairness POET has made efforts to explain what makes their dielectric based platform different. They provided a check list of operational and economic improvements that this technology offers but clearly there is a requirement to provide more that probably can't be justified at this point in time. I believe a couple of things have to occur before recognition of what they have and how big it is becomes understood.

First the engineering samples have to be completed and delivered to all interested parties and I firmly believe that there are a lot of companies they are talking to awaiting this to happen. Accelink is apparently the preferred customer for co-development and they look like a good choice with lots of reach as per this post by ITTR: https://agoracom.com/ir/POETTechnologies/forums/off-topic/topics/709100-alternative-investments/messages/2195991#message

Once the engineering samples are qualified then we should see the extent of interest within the industry by way of production orders. Based on the advantages offered by the platform there should be many customers in the line-up with particular interest in the eco system to higher data rates at 400g and beyond.

Once the size of these orders becomes apparent then we will begin to see analyst put pen to paper and that is the point in time where our investment will make us look like geniuses.

I have been too busy to spend any time on the forum but rest assured I believe POET is very close and I anticipate that we will get a sense of just how close at the AGM.
