A lot of people graduate with honours now, many of them are undeserving...thank our convoluted education system and bad parents for what will come because of it.

Whether anyone deserves a 6 figure salary out of school is debatable, but I will say that because the giving of honours is so prolific now, in many cases it's merely a participation medal.

I will agree with your "potential" statement, as POET does have plenty of that, and has for almost a decade now. Problem is, nothing has come of it. Potential is just that...something that could happen if other, undefined circumstances occur. However, students who were "given" honours for participating have a lot less potential than those deserving of the honour....it's as simple as that. We shall see whether POET is deserving, and I, for one, certainly hope so, and believe it to be the case.
