Baba and InThisThinRain dialogue:

"Baba: "One of the most bullish things about the potential for POET is the hiring they seem to do, week in and week out.  I wish I knew how many were replacement folk or compared to new positions."

That's easily answered. At the Town Hall meeting, the DenseLight staff was quoted at 35. They're now above 90. Denselight is ramping up. And this doesn't include all the people at Almae, Accelink, Silterra that are working with us."

Excellent answer to Babaoriley, InThisThinRain!!!  What does all of that hiring suggest? To me, it suggests that POET is very confident that they will have many things to bring to market on a global scale. They probably have several NDA understandings already in place where this hiring and development is to fulfill requirements that such NDA customers would expect. In otherwords, they feel very sure that they are bringing to market something that customers will want and that those products will do well. It is already written generically in the roadmap anyway. Its a matter of interpretation and trust in our management. The partners that POET has been able to mention so far (as per recent announcements) will reach out globally to customers whom Accelink and Almae already deal with. What I am excited about is future announcements of other companies in other verticals that POET wishes to be in that will have a similar arrangement with POET. Collectively, in this model POET (interposer) can be inside a lot products. This should make Silterra very excited as well. I wonder if Ajit Manocha (being an expert in semi-conducting manufacturing) was ever behind in maybe steering them to POET? It's a small world, so Suresh and Ajit might know the same people, but relationships do bring about new relationships.
