FJ,
A very nice post above, in response to mine.
"I actually believe that most of us are being fooled in the exact opposite direction. That level of doubt is being reflected in the share price inappropriately. I have increased my position accordingly."
Nicely put, I don't totally disagree, as I'm sure there is a material element of the above reflected in the shareprice - but to me, the more weighty element is, the lack of buyers at a time when there are others who should know how close to accurate is the below statement from Suresh, which you quote:
"Suresh can make the kind of statement above “We know we can deliver”.
That's a statement a good, confident CEO makes about a process that may well make or break his company.
If I've manufactured widgets for years and you give me a very large order, beyond my normal capabilty, I can figure a way to get it done and if I tell you "we know we can deliver," then 9 times out of 10, I'll deliver. Poet's products may become widgets that people buy, but until they do, the meaning of "We know we can deliver" is different (to me, anyway). I'm not critisizing Suresh for making that comment, I like that comment, but I also take it in the context of the current circumstances.
As far as your taking advantage of the effect on the share price of the attitude those like me project, gosh I hope you're in a position to thank me someday soon for your opportunity to buy shares at these prices!!
