POET is a show-me stock on the Venture exchange.  Management understands that it must be careful not make public statements unless there is real news.   With the test results hanging in the balance, POET's credibility is now on the line.  If the tests pass then of course things will go exceedlingly well for POET.  The problem for some investors is that the tests are a major unkown, and combined with past performance, the risk is simply too much.  I have tried to follow the bouncing ball on the tests and think they will be done in December, but have no way of really knowing.  Until there is an announcement on the tests big inverstors will shy away.   The good news is that there has been no bad news on the tests.  If the tests had fallen apart by now then management would have had to make a public statement.  So in some ways, the silence from management is a good thing.
