I suggest that those whose gloom genes have been stimulated by the hormone ebbingSP should reread the AGM material provided by Rainer’s sterling efforts (see his link at the top of the right hand column of this page) as a pacifier to their fears.

Nothing but tax and death is a certainty and when it comes to the realities of investing in venture capital another certainty emerges, particularly investing in POET is the little surges and fall back in price that occur around events, caused by the anticipation of the big announcement which does not amount to expectations.

What your reading should tell you is that when testing is complete, and they are very happy with the results so far, there are customers eager to buy the POET transposer platform to implement their own products which they can then price more competitively than their competitors as early adopters. Accelink wants to be an early adopter and other tier one companies are recognising they may be missing a trick here.

SV who is typically muted about raising expectations has signalled to us that he is ‘humbled’ by the reaction of potential customers. He has also signalled Q1 2019 as starting point for revenue, which means that negotiations with certain customers must be at an advanced state of progress.

My judgement is that we are on the cusp of hearing a string of announcements regarding contracts which will change completely the standard ebb and flow status of PTK SP to Tsunami warning levels.  I am relaxed and content having recently invested next year’s holiday fund in this amazing opportunity but don’t tell the Mehmsahib that it will be the second half of her world cruise rather than the trip to Iceland just yet.
