No there has been no "official announcement" but experience indicates that it is not something they would disclose publicly as a standalone item. However I would expect to see this covered with the Q3 update next month along with an update on what stages they are at on production/commercial level optical engine prototypes. Until then let the roadmap  be your guide.

By the way Oz that was an absolutely great post! And of course it supports the notion that highly qualified and knowledgeable people are being attracted by what POET's platform will become.
