With all due respect, I'm not sure McWitty is WRONG WRONG WRONG on his fustration, or his desire for IR to release some information to shareholders on milestones or a sitrep on current status not controlled by NDA.

Because, in the absence of ANY info from IR, to some,no news could just as easily represent BAD NEWS or a DELAY. 

I personally don't think that's the case, but some information or comment from the company could go a long way toward easing some of the  shareholders angst we see displayed here.
