I mentioned this last week and was met with a "you're kidding right?" response.
As mentioned in this thread and Lemenge's post in the off topic section, there are reasons for this to be happening and it is happening in my view.
I admit to doing it this year to offset some gains from other sectors. I've put the cash into other investments and I will buy my Ptk shares back after the 30 day period.
Is there a risk? Of course! News could come out and I'd have to buy back higher. The other side of the argument is that others do likewise and/or a financing is announced, the price drops and I buy back cheaper. Or nothing happens and I buy back at the same price.
I'm not a trader. Been sitting on these shares since the Opel days. But this approach made sense to me and was worth the risk.
We'll see how it pans out.
