I just want some feedback from the more cynical posters here. I'm tired of the "dancing around the issue" dance.
True or False: when a large company engages with a small startup like POET which has developed something revolutionary, are they placing their order with one eye toward getting ahead of their competition, and another eye toward using their financial power to gain leverage over the small startup?
I just want this question put to rest forever from this point forward... are there NO companies out there that are just plain happy to be an enabler of the success of an ingenious startup without strings attached or vise-like takeover schemes stirring in their minds?
