Anyone wishing to take quick soundings of POET’s potential will in all probability visit this site to get a feel for progress and the reaction of investors. In my view they could easily go away with an unfavourable impression, one of general dissatisfaction.  With a number of clear exceptions, we seem to be our own worst enemies here by conveying a sense angst to those visitors to this board.

It takes time to properly digest what has just happened and there have been too many disappointed posters who to my mind have not properly understood what our CEO has conveyed in his confident presentation. His words need to be read a number of times before the significance can be digested, it will then be seen that he has carefully orchestrated a well conceived commercial plan to ensure development converges with customer demand. The acceleration towards 400g is blended in with 100g hitting its sweet spot at the right time, some interpreted this as backing the wrong horse when in fact our CEO is working a blinder at pulling off an accumulator bet. The benefits to investors could well be extraordinary.

 The expectation that the market will understand what is happening tomPOET and react accordingly, when we barely understand ourselves, should tell us that this a slow burning fuze.  Consider the questions of the analysts questions at the Presentation, they totally missed the point and these were analysts who have been on board some time.

I recommend: lOz’z excellent summary of the principle points of the presentation, that you recognise that there is tier one interest in POET’s 400g project and that we have every reason to post with a grin on our faces to convey the true POET spirit andl new found confidence in its offer to a burgeoning customer base for PICs.
