If they have some sense of what POET can do, it's truly small money for them to take the big silicon photonics players off the table and own that IP for any intermediate solution available between the partly-packaged silicon and the subsequent monolithic solutions that POET is finalizing. Even if POET renders those solutions obsolete rather quickly, they (might feel that) they could take POET out for much less and all the prior purchases will be justified that way.
