POET2025 said "Everything is going to be based upon earnings. Would like to see .50 to .70 by the end of the year."

I respectfully disagree. Here is my take. PoET is not yet at the stage where "everything is going to be based on earnings."  First, the market needs to wrap its sense around what kind of financing and amount is confirmed. Then, I must agree with lumenge that the next move in share price will likely be driven by deals, contracts for product. The more well-known the tier 1 customers become in their overall business relationship to PoET, the greater the share price premium. It is here where the share price runs far ahead of actual sales and this can occur 6 to 12 months before those numbers actualize. In otherwords, the market trusts that PoET is in a high growth area of the market and will be likely to penetrate its targeted areas of the market and do very well. Then, as the market matures POET 2025, then "just about everything will be based on earnings".

Lumenge is correct again when he says, "... ... The more well known the buyer(s), the greater the premium. That's the seed that will drive further growth. They will need to plow millions into production, promotion, etc. initially, so earnings may be limited for first 12 months or so. I think 50-70 cents in first 6 months of year is a given if they remain on track."

It would be more comforting for PoET to return to a 50 to 70 cent trading range as that would confirm a baseline of stronger belief in PoET's execution of its roadmap. Then promotion based on actual business deals and name association to tier 1 companies becomes a huge driver in analysts commentary and promotion of PoET.
