Its very sad that more that 310 Kaiam empoyees at Livingstone Scotland were made redundant on Christmas Eve. There is quite a row going on that the Scotish Government were aware that the company had financial problems at a much earlier date. Although, bankruptcy, will mean that the parent US company will be shedding a lot of dept to be bourne by UK tax payeres.
My belief is that the company is in administration which means that a buyer is being looked for. Which would be great for those employees being made redundant if one coulds be found. Guess where I am going on this?
How useful would a Scottish Optoelectronic factory, with 340 skilled workers be to POET Technologies Inc , a Company needing to expand rapidly, at knock down price?
