It is a lot to chew on Baba. The one thing I am fairly certain of is that this has been in the works for a while and I believe that POET waited until they were satisfied with the certainty around the viability of the Optical Interposer before they pulled the trigger.

It would not surprise me if POET has plans to establish production in the US. Since the technology is not dependant on low cost Chinese manual labour.
