50% is a huge percentage; I would never want to recommend to anyone that they do that, especially if the person is likely to rely on my word!  Out of $200,000, no more than $25,000, and even then, perhaps half now and half when we know how we're getting from here to September money-wise.  And just explain, you're shooting for the moon on a play you've followed for years and may be ready to begin paying off.

And, of course, I've pretty much violated my own advice, since I am purporting to give you advice! But I know you're not likely to rely on my advice! LOL
