Mono, the University of Ottawa already receives government funding, as an accredited university, and also receives grants for their photonics research, which has been ongoing for several years.

If Millview is eligible for grant money, it is more likely to come through their relationship with the Canadian Photonics Fabrication Centre. which is funded by the Natiuonal Research Council (another government agency)

It is most Likely that the POET "design centre" will be a collaboration between all of these agencies and utilizing the potential within U of O grad students as well.

We have spent some times discussing the Millview "garage", but it's good to keep in mind that Ottawa is only one part of POET's larger, more global, road map.
