And when you say banks, I take it to mean investment banks, or large banks that (thanks to the repeal of Glass-Steagal a while back) also engage in securities trading. Imagine if they were privy to such details as are enumerated under NDA which were to gave them a strong sense of the timeline for POET's release of the long-awaited validation and they were to do something like short the stock beforehand to shake out shares from weak hands... who would be in position to hold them accountable if they did these things?
