That is not the way I read this Rick. How does a short get covered when the debentures cannot be converted until November and then if I am not mistaken there is a 4 month hold? That is a lot of time. That being said the debenture and warrant both accelerate on a buyout.
A lot can happen in a year while the short is exposed if you need to cover. The company believes this is one of the advantages associated with this debenture is that shorts are not inspired to manipulate the share price to drive the cost down as we have seen in the past.
The warrant does not become accessible until conversion and guess what another 4 months hold if I understand the conditions right.
Bottom line though is why would there even be a need to play those games when you are already getting paid for the first time in POETs history. It almost makes sense to borrow the money to get in on the debenture if you have access to lower cost money.
