Good point, Poetry. Intel was on that list of companies. Also, the Optical Interposer is speed agnostic, so that means what POET has is scalable for the various needs of its potential customers. The possible power of NDAs silence might be in effect here? We can only speculate by inference since that list came out. I would like to believe this to be a certainty and maybe one of the companies that humbled Suresh?
Over time, I have read posts where people wondering why POET doesn't get taken out by a major? Well, if I was POET, I would want to sell my POET Inside to as many major companies as possible to maximize my return. I think that's what the recent bridge financing is there for. To take POET over its last hurdle and directly into high margin sales to global companies through its customers. Once qualifications with different customers are done, it all may become clearer to us. Among the best confirmations would be sales numbers having to do with the OI that are multiples of what we've have had in the past. Then, another quarter with a jump in that multiple again. The time to knowing this should be getting much closer to reality now. Who will be placing their first major order once they are satisfied with OI in their product?
