Tom did what he had to do. A means to an end when confronted by that circular argument I have talked about. If the share price could have been moved higher based on knowledge of the buyer and customer details, products etc. then the upfront cash needs could have been satisfied in part or in whole by the exercising of the warrants based on market response to that confidential information.
I think that the fact that insiders have put up a significant portion of the cash for the debentures points to their confidence in the near term success of this company. And just to be clear they were not allowed to sell shares to participate so people are adding a lot of the eggs to that basket.
The direction that Suresh has taken the dielectric is shaping up to be the roadmap that industry is adapting for advanced wafer level packaging. It is not hard to accept that POET is dealing with major players and that the roll out of products will have to be established very quickly before the competition has time to mount a technical response.
