Would you be pleasantly surprised if the company got sold this year? This is not what I am hoping for but it is very possible and just maybe inevitable. The technology is a first and provides a solution that industry is looking for and that is why they have attracted major companies. There are reasons why they are so guarded. Why they own their own equipment at the foundries they are working with.

Everyone has a price. The management team at POET are putting in a lot of hours and there is no way they would give up this company unless any offer would be good for everyone.

As always I remain focused on the technology.

As stated in the MD&A:

As a platform technology, Optical Interposer development does not have a specific end-point.

What kind of value do you think this statement represents?

Whoever controls this technology in the future in my opinion will control the future of optical integration and the applications that will generate for many years.

For the record this was a big part of the reason  I participated in the debenture because there is  a level  of expectation that the buyer of DL is not  going to be well received by everyone in the industry. Time will tell.
