Seems that no matter what happens, the share price does not react, nor does the volume spike in any meaningful or sustainable way.
However, this time it will be different - famous last words! POET essentially must come out with very pivotal news in late June. It can run the gamut from great news (great buyer and deal to go forward) to very discouraging news (buyer bailed, have to rely on getting a new buyer). In between somewhere, but clearly toward the disappointing end of the spectrum would be a delay announcement. We might also get news of qualification(s), non-qualification(s) or they are still in the process of qualifying.
The above items have to wake up this stock, right?
I sure am looking forward to this volatility event - but in no way am I convinced which way it will take us. If one thinks the current price is low, then a buy before the theorized movement might be in order; I think I'll stand pat myself.
The options being granted now are a plus as wisely pointed out! But nothing dispositive. Just another piece of evidence to be weighed. The fact that options were granted at all is just noise to me - they are acting as expected. But the timing is interesting, compared to recent behavior.
Without more news, I'm thinking we have another week, maybe two of nothing action, but then, be prepared for the inevitable (LOL), but, whatever you do, do not be fooled into thinking that movement either way foreshadows the kind of news we're getting. We've all seen runups and then flops into news, and vice-versa (not necessarily wth POET, but with many others).
